Noura Salem is the Founder and CEO of L + V Design and the Apna Ghar NOOR Fund. A graduate of the Pratt Institute School of Interior Design, her practice has evolved through her experiences working in New York City, Paris, Istanbul, and Copenhagen.

Her multidisciplinary approach draws deeply from textile design, architectural theory, and sculpture, with a particular affinity for the nuanced techniques and visual language of Japanese woodblock printing. Noura’s creative ethos is intrinsically tied to her advocacy. Through the Apna Ghar NOOR Fund, she provides sustained support to survivors of domestic violence, and abuse, with a focus on uplifting marginalized and immigrant communities. This work reflects her belief that humanitarian efforts are an essential part of a responsible and engaged practice.

Her collection of artwork explores themes of light and movement as expressions of resilience and transformation
